    Jamaica Gets First Gold Medal at Junior CASA

    Captain Sanjana Nallapati teamed up with vice-captain Mehar Trehan to offer Jamaica its first gold medal on the Junior Caribbean Space Squash Affiliation (CASA) Championships on the South Sound Squash Membership within the Cayman Islands. The primary seeded doubles pair efficiently defended its tile towards Barbados in an thrilling battle of ability, health and wonderful staff coordination on the squash courtroom.

    Earlier within the championship Trehan copped a silver medal towards the harmful Eboni Atherley of Barbados in an epic match-up. On the finish of the match the scores have been two video games to Trehan and three video games for Atherley but it surely signified the primary time that Atherley was ever shedding a recreation on the junior championship.

    Jamaica now has three medals – a gold, silver and a bronze.

    The blended doubles staff of Ethan Miller and Elle Wilson misplaced their semi-final match-up to Guyana’s Louis Silva and Avery Arjoon.

    The boys staff are having a difficult time on the championship. They’re nonetheless making an attempt to get into medal competition.
