    Jamaica College Shines at Robotics Championship in Florida and Wins Award

    The Jamaica Faculty (JC) Robotics Workforce made waves on the South Florida FIRST LEGO League Regional Championship held on January 18, 2025, at Palm Seaside State Faculty in Palm Seaside Gardens. Competing towards 39 different prime groups, JC was the one group from Jamaica on the occasion and proudly represented their nation on a world stage.

    The competitors was a part of the 2024-2025 FIRST LEGO League’s SUBMERGED season, which challenges younger innovators to discover oceanic mysteries and create modern options utilizing LEGO know-how. JC’s group, Good Picture of Lego Elites (Workforce P.I.L.E.), showcased outstanding talent, teamwork, and creativity, incomes them the Greatest Restoration Award.

    The group confronted vital challenges main as much as the competitors, significantly with the components for his or her robots that had been shipped from Jamaica.
