    “Jah Rastafari!” – Capleton Blazes Through Grand Gala as Reggae Icon Honouree

    Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s Information) – The Nationwide Stadium was set ablaze with pure Rasta vitality as Capleton, the unique Fireman, stepped out draped in black, inexperienced and gold, to obtain the Reggae Icon Award at Jamaica’s 63rd Independence Grand Gala on Tuesday evening.

    The legendary Rastafarian reggae warrior was greeted with thunderous applause as he made his technique to the stage, flames of tradition and consciousness in each step.

    With mic in hand and arms lifted excessive, the group erupted as Capleton belted out his timeless salutation:

    “Jah Rastafari!”

    The phrases rang out throughout the venue like a name to the ancestors, echoed by followers, officers, and fellow musicians. Capleton humbly expressed his gratitude for the popularity of a profession that has spanned a long time of fire-filled anthems, from “Tour” to “That Day Will Come” and “Who Dem.”

    Three Icons, One Night time of Greatness

    Capleton joins the revered Leroy Sibbles and the incomparable Beres Hammond as this 12 months’s recipients of the Reggae Icon Award—three giants, one historic evening.

    The award honours those that have carried the torch of reggae music via generations, inspiring not simply Jamaica, however the world.

    Unity, Tradition, and Fireplace

    Dressed proudly in Jamaica’s nationwide colours, Capleton’s presence was not simply musical—it was religious. His second on stage symbolised the highly effective fusion of religion, roots, and resistance that reggae has all the time represented.

    As the group waved flags and raised fists, the message was clear:
