    Human Rights Bahamas Criticizes Government’s Inaction on Marital Rape Legislation

    NASSAU, Bahamas — A number one human rights group has expressed deep disappointment over the Bahamian authorities’s determination to not advance laws criminalizing marital rape, calling it a failure to guard ladies’s rights.

    The criticism follows latest feedback from authorities officers indicating that no legislative adjustments on the difficulty are anticipated earlier than the tip of the present administration’s time period.
