    They’re Denham City, West Kingston; Norwood and Mount Salem, St James; Greenwich City, Parade Gardens and August City in St Andrew, and Savanna-la-Mar in Westmoreland.

    In his remarks, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Nationwide Safety, Dr Horace Chang, reported that as of Monday (June 16), Jamaica had recorded 307 murders, reflecting a 44.3 per cent decline in homicides.

     “These will not be simply historic statistics on paper. They’re Jamaican lives which are saved, lives which are being preserved, and the way forward for our nation being secured,” he stated.

    The minister emphasised that because the Jamaica Constabulary Drive (JCF) advances its crime-fighting technique, the Authorities will preserve and increase the ‘clear, maintain, and construct’ method to tackling the socio-economic circumstances that drive crime and violence in numerous communities.
