    Holness says meeting with US Secretary of State was productive

    Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says, a gathering yesterday with United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, was productive.

    Rubio was in St Kitts and Nevis, the place the fiftieth common assembly, of the Convention of heads of Authorities, of the Caribbean Group (Caricom), is being held.

    He had personal talks with leaders of assorted Caribbean nations.

    Dr. Holness stated he had productive discussions with Rubio, reaffirming the sturdy and historic ties between Jamaica and the U.S., and the shared dedication to working collectively.

    In the meantime, in an replace on social media, about his discussions with Caricom leaders, Rubio stated, beneath President Donald Trump, the U.S., has strengthened its relationship with Caribbean companions, by working collectively to finish illicit drug trafficking, and promote financial progress, for each areas.
