    High-level investigation underway following discovery of two illegal parcels of cocaine at CTOC

    The Jamaica Constabulary Drive says a secondary high-level investigation is underway following the invention of two unlawful parcels of cocaine inside the storage services of the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigations Department (CTOC) this week.

    This comes as investigations proceed into the arrest and cost of Police Inspector Martin Walker following the seizure of 5 level 8 kilograms of cocaine on January 8.

    The JCF says the newest discovery was made after Head of the Crime and Safety Portfolio, Deputy Commissioner of Police Richard Stewart, ordered a complete audit of CTOC’s storage services.

    The illicit drug was present in breach of established protocols.

    Following the invention, detectives assigned to the Firearm and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID) have been instantly contacted to begin an investigation .

    In the meantime, Commissioner of Police Dr. Kevin Blake has ordered the instant removing of FNID from the oversight of CTOC.

    The JCF Excessive Command has additionally given its full assist to FNID because it carries out the probe.
