ORANGE BAY, Hanover — A joint police/army operation in Orange Bay, Hanover, has resulted in a significant breakthrough for regulation enforcement, with the seizure of high-powered weapons, ammunition, and supplies believed to be linked to fraudulent actions.

In accordance with the Jamaica Constabulary Drive (JCF), the focused operation led to the restoration of seventy lead sheets, that are generally related to lottery scamming; a Bersa Thunder 9mm pistol loaded with two rounds; a Diamondback rifle loaded with seventeen 5.56mm rounds; a Dominican Republic driver’s license; a number of abroad debit playing cards; and a variety of cleansing brokers.

The operation, which was carried out by a joint police and army crew, is a part of the continued effort by safety forces to dismantle felony networks working in western Jamaica.

In an announcement, the Hanover Police reaffirmed their unwavering dedication to public security:

“The Hanover Police stays resolute of their dedication to dismantling felony networks and guaranteeing the protection and safety of our communities. The Jamaica Constabulary Drive won’t relent in our efforts to pursue and produce to justice those that threaten public order.”

Investigators are persevering with their probe to find out the supply and meant use of the seized objects, significantly the lead sheets and overseas debit playing cards, which are sometimes related to identification theft and lottery scamming schemes.

No arrests have been confirmed at the moment, however the JCF says operations within the parish will proceed as a part of a wider technique to suppress felony exercise and restore public confidence within the area.
