    Gunfight Erupts in St James as Police Thwart Supermarket Robbery

    St James, Jamaica – Two cops had been shot and injured whereas stopping a theft at a grocery store on Church Avenue, St James, on Tuesday.

    In keeping with reviews, officers from the St James Beat Officer Patrol Division (BOPD) intercepted a bunch of armed males trying to rob the institution, sparking a fierce gunfight. The suspects reportedly used each a high-powered weapon and a handgun through the change.

    The injured officers had been swiftly taken to the hospital and are in steady situation, in accordance with the police.

    In the meantime, the gunmen managed to flee, and it’s unclear whether or not any of them had been injured through the shootout. Authorities have launched an investigation and are actively trying to find the suspects.

    The Jamaica Constabulary Pressure (JCF) is urging anybody with details about the incident to come back ahead. Witnesses are inspired to help regulation enforcement in figuring out and finding the perpetrators.
