New York Metropolis – (See video under) Sebastian Zapeta, a Guatemalan migrant, has been arrested and charged with homicide and arson in reference to the horrific assault on a girl on the New York Metropolis subway.

Surveillance footage captured the disturbing incident, displaying Zapeta approaching the girl, who gave the impression to be sleeping, on an F prepare on the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station in Brooklyn. He then set her clothes on hearth and watched as she was engulfed in flames.

Zapeta was apprehended later that day after being recognized by a bunch of highschool college students who acknowledged him from pictures circulated by police.

This incident has sparked widespread outrage and renewed debate surrounding immigration and public security.
