    Gov’t to allocate funds to churches to aid in post hurricane cleanup activities

    The Authorities can be allocating funds to church buildings to assist in clear up actions submit Hurricane Melissa.

    Native Authorities Minister Desmond Mckenzie talked about the help, whereas stating that particulars of the allocation can be revealed at a later date.

    He was talking on the launch of the Nationwide Cleanup Programme in Westmoreland right now.

    Mr. Mckenzie once more urged residents to take part within the clear up train.

    The Nationwide Cleanup Programme targets the 16 most affected constituencies, starting with these in Westmoreland.

    Every constituency will make use of about 2 hundred staff.

    The Authorities has allotted $10 million to every constituency for the programme.
