    Gov’t launches public sector flexible work arrangement

    The federal government has formally launched the implementation of the versatile work association inside the public sector.

    The ceremony was held at Jamaica home in Kingston.

    The association is meant to extend employment alternatives, improve productiveness and afford staff the chance to higher construction their lives by way of a versatile worker/employer work settlement.

    Minister of Effectivity, and Innovation Ambassador Audrey Marks mentioned the initiative represents an vital step in Jamaica’s ongoing public sector transformation programme.

    In the meantime, the Jamaica Confederation of Commerce Unions (JCTU) has welcomed the federal government’s choice to implement a versatile work association as a nationwide initiative.

    JCTU President, St. Patrice Ennis, mentioned the association represents a well timed and vital step in modernizing Jamaica’s work power.
