A 13-year-old lady has been killed in a home fireplace which broke out late on Wednesday, police have stated.
Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fireplace and Rescue Service stated the fireplace at a property in Kingsway, Prescot, was lastly put out at 00:30 BST.
A person, girl and 5 youngsters had been in a position to escape from the property unhurt.
