    Florida Attorney General Charges Man with Voter Fraud

    Florida Legal professional Normal James Uthmeier’s Workplace of Statewide Prosecution is charging a person out on probation with voter fraud.

    Jeffrey Luke Crane was charged with voting by unqualified elector and false affirmation for knowingly voting within the 2022 Normal Election as a convicted felon.

    Based on the Florida AG, Crane is on probation for aggravated fleeing with damage or harm, resisting an officer with violence, failing to cease or stay in crash scene involving damage, and driving whereas beneath the affect.

    “Guaranteeing the integrity of our elections is vital to safeguarding our republican type of authorities,” stated Florida Legal professional Normal James Uthmeier. “This defendant knowingly participated within the 2022 election as a felon on probation, and our Statewide Prosecutors will maintain him accountable for this felony motion.”

    Based on the regulation enforcement investigation, Crane signed a Florida Division of Corrections (FDC) probation type whereas on probation acknowledging that the defendant couldn’t vote till finishing probation.

    Legislation enforcement interviewed the defendant, and Crane admitted to voting. They stated Crane additionally admitted to signing the FDC type and receiving a letter from the Supervisor of Elections advising that he was ineligible to vote.

    Assistant Statewide Prosecutor Sophia Birriel-Sanchez will deal with the case.
