    Fi We Children Foundation calls for urgent review and reform of school grooming policies

    The Fi We Youngsters Basis (FWCF) is asking for pressing evaluation and reform of college grooming insurance policies to make sure they align with little one rights rules, dignity, and equitable entry to schooling.

    The FWCF states that latest nationwide conversations surrounding grooming infractions in faculties have highlighted the necessity for insurance policies that shield, not penalise college students.

    The organisation maintains that instructional establishments should stay protected and inclusive areas the place no little one is denied studying alternatives attributable to coiffure, texture, or culturally important grooming practices.

    FWCF is asking on the Ministry of Schooling and key stakeholders to assist nationwide consultations geared toward guaranteeing faculty insurance policies replicate Jamaica’s dedication to fairness, inclusion, and the United Nations Conference on the Rights of the Little one.

    Government Founding father of FWCF, Africka Stephens, underscores that the approaches to self-discipline shouldn’t marginalise any specific group.
