    Falmouth Market Car Park to Get Security Cameras Amid Car Theft Concerns

    FALMOUTH, Trelawny — In response to a rising variety of automobile thefts, together with the current theft of a police officer’s automotive, the municipal automotive park on the Falmouth Market is ready to be retrofitted with safety cameras, in line with Mayor of Falmouth, Collen Gager.

    Talking with the media, Mayor Gager expressed severe concern in regards to the ongoing incidents, notably through the city’s widespread “Bend Down Market” days, which he described as a significant a part of Falmouth’s cultural and business legacy.

    “We’ve had a lot of vehicles being stolen from the park. The most recent was that of a police officer,” Gager mentioned. “Bend Down Market has been happening for years.
