    Exotic Dancer ‘Chocolate’ Fatally Stabbed at Santa Cruz Nightclub

    ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — A person is in police custody following the deadly stabbing of an unique dancer early Saturday morning on the Spendless nightclub in Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth.

    The deceased has been recognized as 34-year-old Nickesha Francis-Monfret, a resident of Queen’s Method, Yallahs, in St Thomas. Sources confirmed her stage identify was ‘Chocolate’.

    Preliminary experiences point out that round 2:00 am, Francis-Monfret was concerned in an altercation with a person contained in the membership. In the course of the confrontation, the person reportedly used a knife to stab her. She was rushed to hospital, the place she was pronounced lifeless on arrival.

    Talking with the media, Superintendent Coleridge Minto, head of the St Elizabeth police division, confirmed that detectives swiftly processed the crime scene and, performing on intelligence, tracked down the suspect at a premises in Santa Cruz.

    “The fast actions of the police led to the arrest of the suspect. He was picked up, and the knife believed to have been used was additionally seized,” Minto acknowledged.

    Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
