Power Minister Daryl Vaz says the federal government and the Jamaica Public Service (JPS) are doing all that may be finished to make sure full restoration of electrical energy, following hurricane Melissa.
One other group of linesmen from america arrived on the island final night time to strengthen the groups already deployed.
JPS, by means of a US$150 million mortgage from the federal government has enhanced its restoration efforts.
Mr. Vaz was amongst officers welcoming the linesmen final night.
Extra staff and tools are anticipated within the coming week.
