Police in Manchester made a daring transfer early Tuesday morning, detaining eight people in reference to lottery scamming and the illegal possession of ammunition, authorities confirmed.

Deputy Superintendent Luhas Daniels, Operations Officer for Manchester, mentioned the operation ran from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and focused a number of districts within the parish, together with High Hill close to Christiana, Greenvale, Mike City, and Hatfield.

“In the course of the operation within the Manchester division, eight individuals had been taken into custody,” Daniels informed McKoy’s Information. “Two have been charged for breaches of the Regulation Reform Act, whereas one faces expenses for illegal possession of ammunition.”

Police mentioned the confiscated ammunition included:

    • 11 rounds of 5.56
    • 2 rounds of .380
    • 7 rounds of 9mm cartridges

Authorities have vowed to proceed the crackdown on unlawful playing operations and firearm-related offenses within the parish.
