    EE says latest outage fixed after ‘technical fault’

    EE says it carried out additional work in a single day to repair a technical drawback which left some clients unable to make or obtain calls.

    It comes after 1000’s have been left unable to make or receive calls earlier this week on account of a technical concern which impacted each cell and landline telephones.

    On Saturday, a spokesperson for BT – which owns EE – stated the community was “working as regular” after upkeep was carried out final night time, however that it was “monitoring” the state of affairs.

    The BBC’s Your Voice, Your Information continued to obtain messages from readers on Saturday saying that that they had skilled points with their cellphone service.

    One 84-year-old buyer stated she and her husband have been left unable to make “important” each day calls to their daughter and son-in-law.

    “The service remains to be down, into our third day of no service is unacceptable,” stated one other buyer from Essex, who added that “the lack of understanding is deafening”.

    BT apologised for that outage on Thursday and stated that it occurred “following a technical fault impacting voice providers” on their community.

    Responding to the most recent outage, EE stated on Saturday: “We proceed to conduct enhanced monitoring to stop recurrence.

    “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this concern has brought about.”
