    Education Ministry Receives $3.2 Million from Access Financial Services – Jamaica Information Service

    Deputy Chief Schooling Officer for Core Curriculum and Assist Providers, Ministry of Schooling, Abilities, Youth & Data, Winnie Berry (proper), receives a cheque for $3.2 million from Entry Monetary Providers (AFS) Restricted, in assist of the nationwide literacy initiative. The presentation passed off on the Ministry’s headquarters in Kingston on Friday (March 7). Making the presentation (from left) are Advertising and Communications Supervisor at AFS, Nicholas Mundell, and the entity’s Chief Govt Officer, Hugh Campbell. Assistant Chief Schooling Officer within the Media Providers Unit on the Ministry, Nadine Simms (centre); and Director of the Donor & Partnership Administration Unit on the Nationwide Schooling Belief (NET), Keisha Johnson, additionally shared within the event. The funds will present books for 165 major faculties in Manchester and St. Elizabeth below AFS’ ‘Entry for a Brighter Tomorrow ‘ programme.
