    The Jamaica Constabulary Power (JCF) is making vital progress in strengthening the institutional framework mandatory for sustainable crime discount, says Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Nationwide Safety, Hon. Dr. Horace Chang.

    Noting that the JCF’s transformation has reached a pivotal stage, Dr. Chang stated the Authorities has laid a robust basis for constructing a contemporary and efficient policing ecosystem, with investments encompassing transportation, communications, infrastructure and expertise.

    He identified that these, coupled with the organisation attaining the membership institution stage, now sees the JCF geared up to higher serve the nation.

    Dr. Chang informed the graduates that their position is to be accessible, responsive, dynamic and adaptable to the ever-evolving challenges of regulation enforcement.

    “Lowering homicides is essential, as a result of the suitable to life is essentially the most basic proper we possess. But, with this success, the calls for on the police will broaden, requiring officers to deal with a wider vary of public security issues.
