Dancehall entertainer Squash has been taken into the custody of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Company (ICE), after his current arrest in Florida on gun-related costs.
The artiste, whose actual title is Andrae Whittaker, is being held on the Krome North Service Processing Centre in Florida, in response to the ICE web site.
On February 25, he was charged with possession of a short-barrel shotgun, a rifle, a machine gun, and a hid firearm.
He had reportedly posted bail following the costs being laid however was detained by ICE earlier this week.
This isn’t Squash’s first encounter with regulation enforcement each domestically and internationally.
In 2023, he was held on immigration-related costs in Florida, US, and in 2019, he was detained by police underneath the State of Emergency (SOE) in Montego Bay, St James.
Squash rose to fame within the final decade as a member of the 6ixx group from Montego Bay, St James with hits like ‘Huge Breeze’ and ‘Ambala’.
