    Curfew Extended in Kingston Eastern Police Division

    KINGSTON, JAMAICA – The curfew imposed in sections of the Kingston Japanese Police Division has been prolonged and can stay in impact till 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26.

    The safety measure, which was initially carried out to curb ongoing prison actions within the space, continued at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24. Legislation enforcement officers haven’t disclosed the precise incidents that led to the extension however have emphasised that the curfew is critical to revive order and improve public security.

    The curfew covers a large space, with the next boundaries:

    • North: From the Mountain Ridge, extending from Mountain View Major College to the Cane River Falls.

    • East: From Cane River Falls main in direction of the bridge at 10 Miles, Bull Bay.

    • South: Alongside the shoreline from the bridge at 10 Miles, Bull Bay, to Flag Circle.

    • West: Alongside South Camp Street from Flag Circle to Winery Street, then onto an imaginary line resulting in Mountain View Major College.

    In the course of the curfew hours, all residents inside the designated boundaries are required to stay indoors until granted permission by the bottom commander. Legislation enforcement authorities are urging the general public to adjust to the restrictions as they work to stabilize the realm.

    The police proceed to observe the state of affairs intently and are anticipated to offer additional updates as needed.
