    Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s Information) – The second Beres Hammond’s title echoed by way of the Nationwide Stadium, the group exploded in pure love and pleasure. The reggae crooner, recognized for his velvet voice and timeless hits, made his entrance to thunderous cheers, stepping ahead to obtain his well-deserved Reggae Icon Award throughout Jamaica’s 63rd Independence Grand Gala.

    Wearing his signature cool and calm model, Beres didn’t simply accumulate the honour—he blessed the nation with a shock mini-performance, treating the packed venue to favourites just like the soulful “I Really feel Good.”

    Followers swayed, sang, and held their hearts because the legend reminded everybody why he stays one of the beloved voices in Jamaican music.

    Three Icons, One Historic Evening

    Hammond joins fellow reggae giants Leroy Sibbles and Capleton as 2025’s Reggae Icon Award recipients, every celebrated for his or her unmatched contributions to Jamaica’s cultural and musical legacy.

    The gang’s response to all three icons was electrical, however Beres—recognized for his romantic anthems and stage humility—introduced a particular sort of magic to the evening.

    One fan was overheard saying, “When Beres sing, it’s like love contact yuh soul.”
