Whereas many church buildings will probably be internet hosting the normal watch evening providers tonight, some within the hurricane ravaged parishes have needed to modify the service time, resulting from security issues.

This as a couple of areas within the onerous hit parishes, particularly St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, St. James and Hanover stay with out electrical energy and the church management opted to have the service within the night, as a substitute of going till midnight.

Historically, the service would have had worshippers ring within the New 12 months at church.

President of the Jamaica Council of Church buildings Bishop Christine Gooden Benguche notes that for tonight’s service, the theme is predicated on Revelation 21.

For the church buildings within the affected parishes, the goal is to encourage hope.
