    Brother Kills Brother in St Mary

    ST MARY, Jamaica — A person has been charged with homicide following the surprising dying of his elder brother in Jeffery City, Gayle.

    57-year-old Canute Clemmings, additionally referred to as “Elton”, allegedly killed 71-year-old Dennis Clemmings, identified domestically as “Lengae”, at their house on Sunday, August 31.

    In accordance with the Port Maria Police, residents went to verify on Dennis round 6:30 a.m. after not seeing him since the day past. They reportedly noticed Canute leaving the home in a rush. Upon getting into the house, they discovered Dennis mendacity on his bed room ground with a head wound. Police have been alerted, and he was rushed to hospital, the place he was pronounced useless.

    An investigation was instantly launched, and Canute was taken into custody the identical day. He was formally charged on Thursday, September 4, following a question-and-answer session within the presence of his lawyer. A court docket date is being finalized.

    The violent incident has left the usually quiet Jeffery City group in shock, with many residents calling it a tragedy that has shaken the whole parish.
