    Boxer Anthony Joshua Injured, Two Dead in Car Crash in Nigeria

    British-Nigerian boxer and former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua was injured in a severe automobile crash in Nigeria on Monday that resulted within the deaths of two individuals, authorities have confirmed.

    The incident occurred on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway close to Sagamu whereas Joshua was travelling as a passenger in a Lexus SUV. Early experiences from police point out that the automobile collided with a stationary truck after a tyre reportedly burst, inflicting the driving force to lose management.

    Joshua, 36, sustained minor accidents and was taken to a hospital for remedy. Video footage and images circulating on-line present him being assisted from the wrecked automobile showing shaken however aware.

    Tragically, two different passengers within the automobile have been killed within the crash. Emergency responders and police are investigating the precise circumstances surrounding the collision.

    The crash occurred simply days after Joshua’s latest knockout victory over Jake Paul in Miami, and comes amid ongoing discussions about his subsequent potential bout in 2026.
