    BITU expresses deep concern about JPS’ proposal to defer third-year wage increase for management team

    The Bustamante Industrial Commerce Union (BITU), which represents the administration group on the Jamaica Public Service (JPS), has expressed deep concern concerning the firm’s proposal to defer the third-year wage improve.

    The BITU stated at a gathering held on November 17, JPS formally requested a deferral of the negotiated wage improve, citing operational and monetary disruptions arising from hurricane Melissa.
