    Bangladesh Women announce squad for upcoming white-ball series against West Indies

    New Delhi [India], January 6 (ANI): The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday introduced the 16-member squad for his or her upcoming tour of the West Indies, ranging from January 19.

    In response to ICC, the upcoming collection will likely be historic since it will likely be the primary time Bangladesh Girls will likely be travelling to the West Indies.

    The collection will comprise three ODI and T20I matches with all matches scheduled to happen at Warner Park in Basseterre, St. Kitts.

    As per ICC, the Bangladesh aspect will arrive in St. Kitts on January 14. The ODI collection will happen on January 19, 21, and 24, adopted by three T20Is, scheduled for January 27, 29, and 31.

    The ODI collection carries vital significance as each groups goal to safe important ICC Girls’s Championship factors for direct qualification to the 2025 Girls’s Cricket World Cup in India.

    Bangladesh at the moment sit seventh within the standings with 19 factors, simply outdoors the automated qualification zone, whereas West Indies are in ninth place with 14 factors on the board. With simply three matches remaining, each groups will likely be keen to say the ultimate direct qualification spot.

    West Indies will tackle Bangladesh following their disappointing efficiency in opposition to India Girls within the white-ball collection.

    Nigar Sultana Joty will likely be main the Bangladesh aspect of their upcoming tour of the Caribbean. Nahida Akter, Murshida Khatun, and Dilara Akter have additionally been added to the squad.
