Clarendon, Jamaica – Police investigators are probing the mysterious circumstances below which a 62-year-old man was shot lifeless at his upscale Glencoe, Spalding residence on Thursday night time.
The deceased has been recognized as Dean Melville, an architect of Mimosa Drive, Glencoe.
Experiences are that someday after 9:00 p.m., Melville was at residence together with his household when a loud explosion was heard. He was later discovered affected by a gunshot wound to the neck.
In accordance with the police, Melville’s spouse gave a press release indicating that her husband had been asleep when she observed his licensed firearm positioned on the nightstand the place he normally stored his telephone. She reportedly tried to maneuver the weapon, at which level Melville awoke, grabbed the gun, and it discharged — hitting him within the neck.
The injured man was rushed to the Percy Junior Hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless.
