    Approximately 51,000 JPS customers remain without electricity, following disruptions caused by Hurricane Melissa

    Vitality Minister Daryl Vaz has indicated that about 51,000 Jamaica Public Service clients stay with out electrical energy, following disruptions attributable to Hurricane Melissa.

    The JPS has been working to revive electrical energy, particularly to the toughest hit parishes.

    Talking within the decrease home right now, Mr Vaz defined that of the 51,000, the JPS expects to revive energy to about 30,000 by this month finish.
