    Vybz Kartel concert boosts holiday travel to Kingston – Jamaica Inquirer

    The Norman Manley Worldwide Airport in Kingston skilled a surge in exercise between December 22 and December 30, 2024, welcoming over 31,000 passengers. This marked a 27 per cent enhance in comparison with the identical interval final yr.

    Senior Tourism Advisor and Strategist, Delano Seiveright attributes the uptick in arrivals to the airport in Kingston partly to the Downsound Leisure-organised Vybz Kartel Freedom Street Concert at the National Stadium on New 12 months’s Eve.

    The Vybz Kartel Freedom Avenue Live performance was staged on the Nationwide Stadium on Tuesday, December 31 and attracted a bumper crowd with followers flying in from so far as Australia, the continent of Africa and Europe.
