    JCF Warns Against Illegal and Dangerous New Year’s Eve Gun Salutes

    Kingston, Jamaica – The Jamaica Constabulary Pressure (JCF) is issuing a stern warning in opposition to the unlawful and harmful observe of firing gunshots into the air to have a good time the New Yr.

    In a submit on X, previously Twitter, the JCF emphasised that this observe shouldn’t be solely unlawful but in addition poses a major danger of great harm and even dying.

    “Bear in mind, what goes up should come down – have a good time responsibly to keep away from critical accidents or worse,” the pressure warned.

    The JCF has assured the general public that legislation enforcement officers shall be on standby to reply to any incidents associated to the unlawful discharge of firearms.
