    Winter tourism season to bring 1.6 million airline seats to Jamaica – Jamaica Inquirer

    Jamaica is experiencing an unprecedented surge in tourism because the winter season sees the vacation spot securing 1.6 million airline seats, underscoring the island’s standing as one of many Caribbean’s most sought-after locations. The robust demand for journey to Jamaica comes as worldwide airways proceed to broaden their choices, making the island extra accessible than ever to guests from all over the world.

    To mark the start of the winter season, the Jamaica Vacationer Board hosted an Appreciation Breakfast on December 15 at Sangster Worldwide Airport and on December 18 at Norman Manley Worldwide Airport. The occasion was held to precise gratitude to the airport employees for his or her invaluable contributions to the tourism sector and for enhancing the journey expertise for guests.

    Director of Tourism, Donovan White, expressed his appreciation to all of the employees from the worldwide airports which have contributed to the expansion and growth of the sector.

This yr’s recipients have been Natawah Dixon from Sangster Worldwide Airport and Sitara English-Byfield from Norman Manley Worldwide Airport.
