SAVANNA-LA-MAR, Westmoreland – A 57-year-old Burmese-born physician, Dr. Aung Naing, was discovered murdered at his house in Savanna-la-Mar on Sunday afternoon.
Dr. Naing, a well-respected member of the medical neighborhood, had been residing in Jamaica since 1997. He was reportedly dwelling alone on the time of the incident.
In response to studies, involved neighbors alerted the police after not seeing Dr. Naing for a number of days. Upon arrival, legislation enforcement officers made the grim discovery of the physician deceased inside his residence.
Dr. Naing, who immigrated to Jamaica from Burma, started his medical profession as an intern on the Kingston Public Hospital. He subsequently served at each the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital and the Noel Holmes Hospital in Lucea, Hanover.
