    Suspect arrested in connection to Barbara Gayle’s gruesome killing – Jamaica Inquirer

    A suspect has been arrested in reference to the brutal homicide of veteran Gleaner journalist Barbara Gayle.

    The St Catherine police apprehended the person on Wednesday within the Grange Lane space of the parish only a day after Gayle’s physique was found with a number of stab wounds in her Caymanas Nation Membership Property house.

    Earlier on Wednesday the police recovered Gayle’s Mercedes-Benz motorcar in bushes alongside the Dyke Street in Portmore, St Catherine, which superior their investigation into the crime.

    Neighbours reported seeing Gayle round 3:30 pm on Monday sitting on her entrance porch and conversing with a person. Doorbell digital camera footage later captured Gayle calmly providing the person a glass of water, earlier than the tragic incident.

    The suspect’s id shall be disclosed if prices are formally laid in opposition to him.
