    St Ann Barber Charged in Kidnapping and Sexual Assault Case

    ST ANN, Jamaica— The St Ann Police have arrested and charged a 49-year-old barber in reference to a kidnapping and sexual assault that occurred within the parish between November 6 and seven.

    Willis James, of Enfield, St Ann, has been charged with rape, abduction, grievous sexual assault, and theft with aggravation.

    In line with experiences, round 8:00 p.m. on November 6, a girl was strolling alongside the principle highway in Mount Olivet when James, driving a Toyota Fielder motor automotive, reportedly brandished a knife and ordered her into the automobile.

    It’s alleged that James confiscated the girl’s cellphone and drove to a secluded space, the place he assaulted her. On the next day, November 7, James launched the girl in Brown’s City. The sufferer subsequently reported the incident to the police, prompting a direct investigation.

    James was arrested throughout a pre-dawn operation in Brown’s City and later charged. The police have confirmed that his court docket date is presently being finalized.
