    West Indies team’s return from India delayed due to airspace restrictions

    Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], March 3 (ANI): The West Indies cricket group’s departure from India has been postponed on account of worldwide airspace restrictions arising from safety considerations within the Gulf Area, Cricket West Indies (CWI) confirmed on Monday.

    In an official assertion, CWI mentioned, ‘These restrictions are a direct results of the safety threats posed by army motion within the Gulf Area, which has impacted a number of worldwide flight routes and required airways to regulate scheduled providers for security causes.’

    The board assured that the protection and well-being of the gamers, teaching workers, and officers stay the very best precedence.

    ‘CWI is working intently with the Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC), related governmental authorities, and airline companions to safe the earliest doable secure journey preparations for the squad and assist workers,’ the assertion added.
