    Trinidadian Sentenced in U.S. for Firearms Trafficking After Extradition from Jamaica

    A 36-year-old Trinidad and Tobago nationwide has been sentenced in the USA after being extradited from Jamaica in reference to a large-scale firearms trafficking operation.

    Shem Wayne Alexander of Port of Spain obtained a sentence of 4 years and 9 months in federal jail final Friday. The ruling was handed down by a U.S. District Decide within the Center District of Florida following his conviction for conspiracy to smuggle firearms from the USA to Trinidad and Tobago.
