The Opposition Folks’s Nationwide Get together is demanding that the Authorities take quick steps to clear what it calls the man-made logistics on the Port of Kingston.

In response to Spokesman on Commerce, Funding and World Logistics, Anthony Hylton, there have been rising complaints by small enterprise operators, people and reduction organisations about being hit with extraordinary delays in clearing containers from the port, in addition to elevated prices for demurrage and associated fees.

Noting that individuals are being compelled to pay charges for objects they can not clear, Mr. Hylton says one thing have to be carried out to handle the problem.
