    Sigma Run Raises $152 Million for Western Schools – Jamaica Information Service

    A complete of $152 million was raised on Sunday (February 15) on the 2026 Sagicor SIGMA Run, in assist of rebuilding efforts of 5 faculties in western Jamaica, which have been severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa.

    The colleges are Salt Marsh Major and Toddler College, Mayfield Major and Toddler College, Hopewell Excessive College, Inexperienced Pond Excessive College and Little London Excessive College.

    Prime Minister, Dr. the Most Hon. Andrew Holness, stated the initiative continues to display what is feasible when company companions and residents work collectively to construct resilience, strengthen schooling and assist group restoration.

    In the meantime, Garfield Gordon, was declared the winner on the occasion.

    He instructed JIS information that this was his fourth time profitable the SIGMA run, and that “it feels actually wonderful to be victorious”
