    The Well being and Wellness Ministry has spent roughly $3.8 billion over the previous three years to rehabilitate greater than 100 well being centres islandwide.

    Portfolio Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton supplied the replace throughout the latest handing over of the renovated Oxford Group Well being Centre in St. Mary.

    He stated the Authorities is embarking on the most important refurbishing and upgrading of well being centres since independence.

    Dr. Tufton famous that for the reason that passage of Hurricane Melissa final October, assessments of over 105 well being centres have been initiated.

    The Minister stated the renovation of well being centres is a part of a broader thrust to nudge individuals to entry major healthcare of their communities.
