    Information Minister, Dr. Dana Morris Dixon welcomes Jamaica’s 2025 Corruption Perceptions Index score

    Data Minister, Dr. Dana Morris Dixon has welcomed Jamaica’s 2025 Corruption Perceptions Index  rating, whereas expressing hope that it is going to be elevated.

    Based on Transparency Worldwide, Jamaica ranked 73rd out of 180 international locations with a rating of 44 out of 100.

    A rating of 0 represents “extremely corrupt,” whereas 100 signifies “very clear.”

    Jamaica’s rating of 44 stays the nation’s greatest ever on the CPI – a feat beforehand attained in earlier years between 2017 and 2025.

    Responding to questions at right now’s post-Cupboard press briefing, the Data Minister stated the most recent rating and rank are because of measures applied by the federal government.

    She stated Jamaica has a strong anti-corruption system in place in addition to accountability methods that are robust.
