    Police warn about purchasing contaminated beef following slaughter of pregnant cows

    The St. Mary police are advising customers to be cautious about buying beef that could be contaminated within the Rose Finish district.  

    The Agricultural Safety Department issued the warning following the theft and slaughter of pregnant cows, yesterday.

    Stories are {that a} farmer tethered 11 cows on a plot locally and retired to mattress.

    A relative of the farmer, who oversees the property, later went to test on the cattle and realised that they had been lacking.

    Two cows had been later discovered. That they had been slaughtered on the property. Certainly one of them had been carrying a totally developed calf.

    Police theorise that the unlawful slaughtering passed off between 3:00 a.m and 5:00 a.m. yesterday.

    A veterinarian, who visited the scene, instructed the police that he had lately injected the animals with chemical substances, making them unfit for consumption.

    Residents are being warned to be looking out for cattle being offered at unusually low costs.

    They’re additionally being warned that consumption of contaminated meat may cause critical well being issues and even dying.
