The Jamaica Public Service (JPS) has strongly condemned an act of vandalism, involving a number of transformers, that had been scheduled for set up, to assist electrical energy restoration works, in Westmoreland.
Based on the corporate, as a part of preparatory work, the transformers had been left at a church property within the parish on Monday February 2, to start restoration work yesterday.
JPS’ Company Communications Officer, Darian Reid, mentioned when the groups returned to start set up, they found that the items had been disassembled.
He famous, that the motion has slowed the restoration course of for purchasers.
