    PM Holness departs Jamaica for International Economic Forum in Panama

    Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness is attending the 2026 Worldwide Financial Discussion board of Latin America and the Caribbean in Panama.

    He departed the island this afternoon for the discussion board which started in the present day and runs till Thursday, January 29.

    In a submit on X, Dr. Holness famous that as the worldwide panorama continues to shift, it’s more and more essential that Jamaica maintains a powerful and energetic presence in worldwide boards, the place key financial, improvement and funding discussions are going down. 

    He mentioned Jamaica’s participation ensures that nationwide pursuits are superior and that the nation’s voice is heard on the worldwide stage.

    Minister of Tradition, Gender, Leisure and Sports activities Olivia Grange shall be accountable for the federal government throughout Prime Minister Holness’ absence.
