    Transport Authority laments that not many taxi operators are making use of online application for licences

    The Transport Authority has lamented that not many taxi operators are making use of the web software for licences.

    Managing Director Ralson Smith famous {that a} evaluate was performed of the 2025 / 2026 licensing interval.

    He stated, solely about 9% of the over 16,000 functions was processed on-line.

    Mr Smith is urging route taxi associations to encourage extra of their members to make use of the web software platform.

    Because it pertains to cost through the web platform, Mr Smith acknowledged issues, and guaranteed that they’ve been addressed.

    He was talking on the annual route taxi affiliation assembly held lately in St Ann.
