    Electricity Restored to Communities Linked to Roaring River Pump

    Energy provide has been restored to a number of communities following the profitable energisation of electrical energy strains serving the Nationwide Water Fee’s (NWC) Roaring River Pump.

    Residents in sections of Petersfield, Waterworks, and Shrewsbury Falls at the moment are receiving electrical energy after the completion of works on the transmission strains. The energisation course of was finalised final week, with subsequent testing confirming that energy was efficiently delivered to the realm.

    The restoration effort concerned in depth reconstruction of the electrical energy community, together with the rebuilding of greater than 10 miles of energy strains. The strains run from the Jamaica Public Service Firm’s (JPS) Paradise substation to the Roaring River Pump facility.

    Over 100 JPS linesmen have been deployed to hold out the work, pushing to finish the venture and restore service to affected communities.

    JPS has indicated that efforts are ongoing to additional rebuild and strengthen the electrical energy community as crews proceed working to revive energy to further prospects throughout the parish.
