    St Catherine Taxi Operator Charged with Murder Following Portmore Stabbing

    A St Catherine taxi operator has been formally charged with homicide after a deadly stabbing in Portmore final yr.

    Authorities recognized the accused as 33-year-old Lloyd Armstrong, also called “Juju Frass,” of Taurus Drive, Gregory Park, St Catherine. The sufferer, 45-year-old Damion Lawrence, recognized regionally as “Coach” and a taxi operator from Eltham Park, Spanish City, St Catherine, died after sustaining a number of stab wounds.

    Police experiences point out that the incident occurred round 6:15 pm on July 25, 2025, following an argument between Armstrong and Lawrence. Lawrence was rushed to a close-by hospital however succumbed to his accidents whereas receiving therapy.

    Following the incident, Armstrong surrendered to the Portmore police within the presence of his lawyer. He has since been charged with homicide, and his preliminary courtroom look is being scheduled.
